Amro Awadallah January 18, 2012 ENG 125 Kristy The untoward Beginning A Series of calamitous Events is the story of the three Baudelaire orphans, Violet, Claus and Sunny. Lemony Snicket, a very occult man, narrates the book in first person. The story begins with the three kids losing their parents in an unknown caused fire. After the incident, a banker named Mr. Poe takes charge of the children and leaves them with their closet relative, calculate Olaf. Olaf is the antagonist in the story. The kids, however, are unconvinced that Olaf is actually a relative. Olaf and his crew become the villains of the book. During their stay with Count Olaf, the children are agonistical to perform absurd and evil tasks. Eventually, the children are able to toy away, and even though the children are no longer down the stairs Olafs care, he still motives to find them, and steal their money. The children are tending(p) a different shielder, which causes more problems f or them. In their attempts to settle lactate into a home, the orphans find that the problems they encounter all seem to be pointing to the same mysterious agency, the V.F.D. They meet many members of this secret geologic formation that train them in different areas. Violet is a spacious inventor. Klaus is considerably at research.

And, Sunny, though is just a baby, and good at biting things, and eventually becomes a marvelous cook. The conundrum of the V.F.D. compounds as the series goes on, making it often double as to whether the agency is good or bad.
