The novel, Freak the Mighty, is about two boys named Kevin and gook who go on adventures and quests to submither. They call themselves, Freak the mighty. They have enormous imaginations and they go to tame together. Kevin, excessively known as Freak, is disabled scarce he is extremely intelligent. Max is a huge eighth grader. He isnt very smart and he has a funky self esteem. Max and Kevin are two very unalike boys with distinguishable personalities, yet they are great friends.

In the novel, a common moral of the story is Dont try a book by its cover. Max is big and intimidating, but caring and kind, too. He is not very smart and he is in learning disorder classes in school. For example, Gwen is afraid of him because of his size. Also, the promontory needed to talk to Max and right when he got in the office, the first thing he said was, gramme! Is Gram ok? This shows that he is caring. Max and Kevin might appear different on the outside, but on the inside, they are great people. For example, Max appears really big and scary on the outside. just now on the inside, Max is very kind.
