St Domingue, which we now know as Haiti was the richest dependence during the time of slavery. This colony had a vast number of planters, whites, and slaves which made Haiti the most remunerative colony at that time. Haiti produced large quantities of sugar, coffee, cocoa, cotton, and tobacco.
